Circumstances:	Saw him inside the house before turning in on Monday night but no sign of him since. This is unusual as he does not stray far and always wants his breakfast.
Other info:	He's large - 7kg

Hi a black and white cat was handed into Iffley road vets this morning might be worth checking this out just incase.

Thanks clare Very much appreciate your help. That cat was not Elvis. Good news however - Elvis came home yesterday! A lot thinner and a bit sheepish but OK. Thanks again for your help.

A cat very similar to Elvis visits our garden in Yarnells Hill (lower end, even side) most days - I've just seen him briefly but he disappeared again quickly. He spends a lot of time in or on top of the shed next door. I'm not sure he's got as much white as Elvis. He's quite fluffy. I'll call you if he appears again. 30/3/18

Thanks Gatos. We are at the top of Yarnells Hill and Elvis didn't venture far so I suspect the cat you often see is a different cat. Elvis also has short hair albeit very thick. But if you can get a good look and think differently do let me know. Fingers crossed..... :)

We've just seen the Elvis-like cat again, and sadly I don't think it is Elvis. The markings on his face are identical, but he doesn't have the white on the back of his head - just a white collar. We'll keep looking. As we have cats ourselves a lot of other cats pass through this way as they know there is food around!
