I would if I could but I only noticed him because I went to post something & petted him. Then noticing he was a bit skinny, I took two pictures (RSPCA). Later at home I wondered if he was a lost / stolen pet.

Thank you I will drive over there tomorrow and have a look. Not surprising if it is him to be skinny hes been gone since August. Last time he had been stolen so probably escaped and completely lost his way. Thanks anyway If I find him and it is him either way I will let you know. You showed some kindness to him anyhow and have given me some hope. Thank you.

Is this cat still missing at all?

Yes it is and to be honest I have now given up. Something strange though a cat with same characteristics turned up in August even came in the house. I was quite convinced he was mine I called the vet they told me to take him in to scan for the identification.. I was dubious because he had on a different collar. I had always suspected he had been stolen as had happened in the previous year. So when the vet looked at him they too thought it was mine ubtil he was scanned only to show there was no micro chip so we couldnt say for sure . Fact he had a collar on meant somebody had been keeping him and I was also told a chip can be removed . My fears of him having been stolen were confirmed but he had managed to come back BUT I couldnt keep him . He had come by himself and sat outside my house three days running before I had taken him in to phone the vet.

So As soon as I returned from the vet I let him go ..I didnt see him again until two months later hed come and jus sit on top of the gate looking in towards my door. As soon as he saw me come out ed sit for a bit and go away. That continued almost everyday and I noticed the collar was gone. I suppose he was just visiting me and it has been nice just to see him . He'd repeat this jump up sit on the fence and as wait till he saw me and jump off. I have given up waiting for my Winston if his micro chip has been removed and it is this cat that visits me there is no way of finding my Winston. I don't know why this cat who looks like my own visits me. I go out talk to him and then he jumps off till the next time.

I think you should feed him and get a friendship going

Thanks for your advice . Shall I close this file now? I doubt I will see my cat identified as my cat anymore. Happy to have regular visits from my new friend.I feel somehow God has sent this one to comfort me and I thank Him for that. The cat is healthy so he is not going hungry and I appreciate the visits. If only he could talk? I talk to him, listens , looks at me as if to say something and goes away. Am content. So thanks for the advice. You have been so kind and not think my story weird, thanks for understanding. Take care and keep safe and well.
