Circumstances: The parrot was in our back garden, sitting on our mop which had been left outside. It didn't appear startled when we went outside and came closer when we offered water and food. It seemed uninjured but unusually approachable.

Yes, the Pets Reunited categorisation meant I had to log it as a parrot (which a budgie is a type of)

I have shared with other groups. Have you taken the little budgie in to your house? It will need care...or take to a vet or sanctuary?

Thank you! The budgie was taken to a local vets which specialises in exotic animals.
