Bertie was being held captive on Tressillian Road, Brockley from Tuesday to Saturday, while I was walking the streets in tears. So selfish! ShePR84117

Don't keep lost pets, someone else paid for them & is heartbroken at their loss.

A neighbour was keeping Bertie in her home from Tuesday to Saturday! Meanwhile I was walking the streets in tears, and had to pay a reward. Her excuse was "he is very pretty", she didn't bother to take him to the vets to check his chip. He was really thin & tired when he got home, and desperate for cuddles. I think the posters & reward shamed her into releasing him. Should I contact the police?

Has Bertie gone missing again? A very similar looking cat has been found nearby. There is a post on the Cats of Brockley Facebook group and several members have tried to text and call Bertie's owner to confirm.
