Circumstances:	Must have jumped out of a first-floor window, windows were open at the time because of the heat.

Found dead by neighbors underneath their car -- first day they moved their car after a long time. Not sure exactly how it happened. We looked for her everywhere, day and night, we called her, left a trail with treats,...I just cannot get over the fact that she was so close to her home and somehow we were not able to bring her back alive. She was an indoor cat, and so it is true what I read from one site that indoor cats never go far.
