I know a cat in my neighbourhood that looks just like him but I do live quite a distance away from where this cat was found. The one I know is very friendly and loves to be petted. He also has a very particular meow and very long whiskers. I'm not sure this is the same cat but if it is I'd love to get them home. A clearer picture would help or a video.

Would the lady who commented describe in what way his meeow was distinctive? And what sort of dustance away? He is hopefully being scanned for a chip tonight.

His meow is really raspy if that makes sense. The neighbourhood would be Amington Green which is quite far but he looks very similar to the one I know.

Thanks fir that, I asked because he wails and that could be a typical tomcat thing but when you said his meeow was distinctive I though maybe that was it, the photo doesnt show that he has a white bib if thats any help? Hopefully if he turns up at his usual time of 8- 10 tonight we should be able to scan him for a chip, do you know the owners of the one from your area ? Would he have been chipped?

Sorry to be a pain again but when you say Amington Green do you mean Amington in Ramworth? Uf so thats nit really far, he could have sneakexd into a delivwrery van or even a narrow biat as the canal basin is just at the end of Tolman Drive, if there is a chance its the cat youre ralking about would rhe iwners be able to take a look at him when we see him? I could fing or put a message on here?

Amington Green in Tamworth, yes. I know the street where he lives, not sure on the house but it could only be 1 or 2 houses I believe as I walk past there often and that's where I usually see him. I've not seen him in a while that's why I thought of him. Perhaps the chip will help with finding his owner or narrow down the area where he's from. I have some videos of him as well as he tends to come and have a pet sometimes that we could compare.

It might be in the message request section. I'm sure I sent it to the right profile as I saw your post with the cat on your feed before sending it.

We have managed to scan him and he has no chip, he is also unneuterd, he had an ingected injury for which he's had antibiotics but weve been unable to get him into a carrier to get him neuterd even though the Cats Protection have offered us a voucher, we think one of our neighbours who has beem feeding him has put a flea collar on him,
