Found deceased Black cat - Tamworth area, Staffordshire

Microchipped:	No
Circumstances:	I work at the practice, unfortunately this poor cat was hit by a car outside i didn't see it and the wicked person had obviously just drove off but i took it to the vets even though it had already sadly passed away. There was no micro chip and i had no other option but to leave it with the vet next door to the bennets taxi rank to see if anyone would come looking. I knocked on the doors down Albert road with no luck. I hope if this was anyones cat i can find their owner and im really sorry i didnt find them sooner from what the vet said it was probably instant as it had not long happened and i took them straight to the vets. Please if you know anyone who this cat could belong to let them know.

It had long black silky fur and a normal sized tail from what I can remember you could contact mercian vets I believe it is called that is where I took the cat it had no microchip about 3 4 years old I hope this helps

Thank you for replying. It doesn't sound like her as she has short fur and a very distinctive short tail.
