This has been shared on several local Lost pets Facebook groups , the poster states may be chipped has it been taken to a vet to check for a chip , where is the cat now as could just be a local cat that would have found its way home .

Just to clarify we don't know if the cat is chipped as our local vets are closed at the moment. The cat is staying with us at the moment until we can find its owner.

Thank you for your reply , the majority is vets are open now and will scan for you - also Csts Protection or Thames Valley animal Welfare will come out and scan for you - have share on Facebook to Woodley gossip group and the lost and found pets Reading group - sone comments have said they used to see this cat in Ravenscroft road so could have an owner very local - have you puts notes through the doors of the surrounding roads - thank you for taking care if him

Thank you so much for the information. I will try to contact either Thames Valley animal Welfare or cats protection to see if she is micro chipped. We haven'e posted anything through letter boxes but we will give it a go.

Hope you manage to find the owner - a lady did send me a photo of the one they used to see all time in Ravenbourne and it does look a lot like this one so could live locally - good luck

Owner was away when cat disappeared. After the cat was scanned we were able to locate the owner from her microchip.
