Can you take a photo of the cat. Or contact Cats Protection, I think there’s a local branch at Wokingham. Poor thing seems to need help and may well have been abandoned because of the current virus situation which sadly is apparently happening. It’s presumably very hungry and been fighting for food. If you’re on the local Nsxtdoor site, maybe someone there may know it. Could you put some food down in front of it and it may gradually get to trust you enough to get it into a basket. When a similar event happened here, I eventually got the cat to EasyPet care in Woodley and they checked if it was microchipped, which he was - and they cleaned him up., and contacted the owners..No charge!

We were thinking of that, the main thing we’re struggling with is catching him!! But when we do we will definitely take it to EasyPet care

So far I haven’t seen any reported lost cats that look like this one but am checking for updates as much as possible

I got close but can’t remember sorry!! I’ve left food out and am on the look out. I’ve asked my whole household to at least try get a photo

He has white shoulders but on his back has some black spots and the one on rhigt side comes close to his shoulder

I’m afraid I don’t think this is the same cat :( this one I remember had almost symmetrical black lines on its shoulder blades. I shall double check when I see him again though

I have just seen this cat and there was a black spot under the left ear. What is the name? I’m about to run over to where I saw him and put food out

Sarah, you may need another pair of hands! Whilst I put food in front of the one we had, OH threw an old decorating sheet over him, then grabbed the whole wriggling bundle! Into the open basket which I had ready to close.

We’ve set the cat flap to in only just incase the cat comes in for food and I’ve left food outside which a keep checking on and if he turns up I’ll hopefully have at least 2 people here who can help!!

This cat is regularly visiting my garden off Warren Road. He has a nasty wound on his face. CP Wokingham have lent me a trap and I’m currently trying to trap him. If anyone can catch him and get him to Shinfield Vets and Call Anne at Cats Protection. 07814 793172
