this cat was living in Mallinson Court on Osney Island until a week ago, he had wandered in there at least a year ago and been adopted by a resident. this resident died on Christmas Day and the cat cried outside his door until he was taken to a vet who identified him by chip as living in Oakthorpe Road North Oxford. The "owers" there said he had been missing since December 19 which seemed hard to believe as he has been seen on Osney for months and months. I believe they collected him, but now I see the vet was reported missing from a different location and on a different date. I hope he has been reunited with the right owner

sorry, I meant the cat was reported missing from a different location, not the vet!
