Almost every day cats are going missing. on next door Why? They are well looked after and usually microchipped. I hope it is not cat haters or worse in our community. It would be useful if cat owners alert next door if cat is found. I have asked bbc radio oxford to investigate this 'missing cats' but of course they are vague in their response. Does anyone else have ideas?

Please don't message someone who is distraught about a missing pet so they think you are messaging with news just to imply that people could have taken him to hurt him

Clearly, you misunderstood my message. Of course I do not want to upset anyone. I love cats and have rescued 5 in my area. BUT I am very concerned about the number of cats going missing in our community. It is not normal. Maybe you could post a message about this problem and hopefully find a solution. I still say if you find your cat let us know so we don't have to worry any more. Cats are smart so it doesn't make sense that they get lost. Instead of criticising me, why don't you help to try to prevent this missing cat problem from happening. Look forward to your ideas.

All I asked is please don't post on here it is for notifications of sightings so I think that is why I have a message. You posted again. Please stop. It clearly states that is what you may use the message function for. As with a previous missing cat I immediately update this website once found.

Actually it says 'Leave a public comment' Don't worry. I will try on my own to prevent this problem. I care about cats not websites. I have replied directly to you not the 'Leave a public comment'. I'm sure you will tell me if this is also wrong.

Your first contact was public, i made it a privste conversation by replying directly on the 2nd reply. My partner saw them and he is not logged in  "Comment notification Dear Rebecca, helenbrown has just left the following comment on your report:" I have asked you to not comment/message twice now because I think it is news. Will you please stop.

We walked around for miles, James heard a faint miaow when calling coming from a load of nettles and brambles at the bottom of someone's garden by an allotment. The people that live there let us in and after 2 hours of chopping down nettles, calling him, he came out terrified but ok by the look of it. Very skinny after 3 nights and inhaled a whole bowl of food. So relieved!
