Circumstances:	Found in our garden, originally ran away as soon as he saw us, we noticed it drinking Dirty puddle water and an old cup of coffee so knew it was thirsty. Very skinny, we started feeding it on 12th August and 24 hours it was friendly and letting us stroke it. Seems healthy but very thin.

Hi my cat Smokey went missing back in June 2016 around Botley...still haven’t found him to this day...would be a long shot if this cat was my Smokey..would this cat be able to be scanned for a microchip at all? My Smokey was microchipped x

Hi, we are trying to work out whether to keep her - unfortunately we have a holiday in two weeks time that is not great timing. We should be able to decide in the next day - shall I let you know ASAP if you are still interested ? Vet says she (we think it’s a she, vet couldn’t actually confirm!) will need a health check, all vaccinations and then if not already spade (spelling?!) that too....

Hi Sam : ( Sorry to hear that. We are getting a full health check at the vets tomorrow (the lady that checked for the chip before was a vetinary assistant, think that's why she wasnt so confident to let me know if the cat was a boy or a girl). If anything changes and they find a chip I'll be sure to let you know.

I should add that she had her health check this morning and all is fine. Definately a girl, no chip, the vet does NOT think she has been spayed. Couldnt put an age on her...
