Circumstances:	The date is approximate. We saw the cat in the car park near our house in Warwick Close, by the entrance to the Brandhall allotments. It was eating scraps of food it had found on the road & was very nervous. It got up into the engine bay of a parked van one night, so we don’t think it had a home & was seeking shelter. It was hanging around the area after this, so we started leaving a little food out for it, as it looked like a stray. It has since discovered we have a cat flap, so has been letting itself in and eating our cats’ leftovers, & sleeping on the fridge/freezer (we’ve made a bed for it up there). We feed it regularly now. Although generally nervous, it sometimes wants a big fuss! Wasn’t wearing a collar, and we’ve scanned it for a microchip, but none present. Not sure of sex - could be a neutered male (no sign of testes), but equally could be a female!
