How sad. Must be very confused. Is his old home nearby might be trying to get home? Also has the microchip been changed yet or is it still the previous owner? You need to contact the database he is listed on and let them know. The previous owner should complete a change of details on the website of the database or phone them. Be careful make sure it’s a DEFRA approved database (check Govt website). Hopefully someone has found him and called the dog warden or taken to a vet for safety.

He was handed into Blue Cross hospital in Victoria. They say they returned him to his owner but couldn't tell me who that was. I was not yet on microchip as only a few hours since I bought him. The lady I bought him from said she had no info. My assumption is that he was stolen before I bought him. I asked police to contact the seller. They didn't.
