LOST
Name: [Name Withheld]
Breed & Species: Unknown cat
Colour: Ginger tabby
SimpleColour:
Went missing: 3 years ago
(06 January 2021 at around 09:00hrs)
Location: Balfe Street, London N1 9EB, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 4 years old
Sex: Male
Collar: No
Microchipped: Yes
Markings: none
Circumstances: He was in the garden when a man came over our wall, chased by a number of other men. It turns out they were police who were chasing someone. Due to there being a dead end they were in all the gardens for some time, with lots of yelling and shouting. Our cat was last seen running towards our house wall where the guinea pig hutch is. He couldn't get to the place where he usually comes in as there was a policeman in the way. When all was quiet and he still hadn't come back we went searching, even climbing the wall at the back which is part of Coal Drops yard. We have been everywhere we can possibly think of and there is no sight or sound of him. He is also very important to my grandson, who has autism and severe emotional issues and whom has a very special therapeutic bond with this cat.
Other info: He is a stunning ginger tabby with a stripy tail , pinky brown nose and very sharp claws. He is very vocal

My friend said she saw a cat that looked "remarkably" like yours at 7:22 this morning: "we were walking through the Killick St Garden on the corner of Killick and Southern Street, I saw a cat walking along a brick fence on Southern Street."

According to Google Maps, the address where she saw the cat on the brick wall was 8 Southern St

You might want to put some scent markers outside your door to help your cat "smell" his way back. These could include some of his used litter, bedding etc. anything with his scent

I had just come back from putting more posters up and leaving a scent trail (i'd been out since it got dark) and he must have followed me home because less than 5 minutes later he came in, dirty, scared and hungry but safe and sound.
