Markings:	A very white chest and white paws and white long socks on the back legs
Circumstances:	They just kept coming around. But they came and went at first with and without a collar. But now they don't leave. I have cats of my own, so I did feed them as they seemed hungry.

I have put the post on the local fb page. Are you keeping the cat inside. I would hate to think of it outside in this weather. I hope an owner comes forward soon. Like you, I have two cats of my own, or I would take them in, if no one came forward. Please keep me posted.

Thanks that's great. Yeah they are staying inside. They are clearly housetrained though as they will cry to go out when they need to. My cats aren't happy, but they don't bother each other too much

They obviously seem happy enough at yours. I am almost certain that this cat used to be around our area.

Turns out the cat lives around the corner from me. He was chipped and the owners are picking him up from the vet today. Just took time to get an appointment. I'm sure he will be back in a few weeks for visits

Got an appointment at my vet and had him scanned and turned out he lives very close to me. His owners are picking him up from the vet today.

Thank you for the update. I have to say I saw the cat that looks similar, over the weekend, so assumed the cat had found its family. Obviously a different cat! Did the owners report the cat, you were looking after, as missing? Seems to have taken a while for them to not raise a missing case? One of my cats was trapped in a garage for 3 days, after 24 hours I was frantically reaching out vets, pets reunited, neighbourhood watch and Cheswick fb page!!
