We had a phone call from a neighbour very close to the vets car park where he scarpered, apparently he popped in to her next door neighbour and pinched her cat food and ran out before she could shut he cat flap. I rang the vet and by chance Jane & Michael from the City Cat Shelter in Brighton (we adopted Smudge and his sister from them) were visiting with some patients and set a trap in the garden and caught him. Jane knows him well and he was very pleased to greet her, she then had him checked out at the vets and bought him home to us - wonderful people.
