Location:	Whiting Avenue, Barking IG11 8JP, UK
Health:	Healthy
Age:	5 years old
Sex:	Male
Collar:	No
Microchipped:	Not sure
Markings:	Has black on head and tail end. And brown on the wing area.
Circumstances:	It was in a children's play area within the grounds of flats. It was pecking around the ground with a few of the neighbours keeping a watch over it. A neighbour had already knocked at my door to notify me of this. I live further down the road. I went out after to take a pic. And it wasn't where I thought she meant. Then I heard it crow - & followed the sound. It isn't overly big.
Other info:	It is a cockerel. And, possibly a 'Cochin' breed. It has no ring on its legs.

Just made arrangement for the cockerel (Chooky) to be taken to South Essex Wildlife centre in Orsett when, in the early hours of Wednesday morning 11/11/20, the foxes got to it. All that was left were some of his tail feathers up by the shed, at the end of the garden. You could see that there had been a scuffle around where he slept for the night. This was in a kennel, which wasn't really fox-proof. And stuff had been tipped over behind the shed. I was, and still, am, very upset by this.
