i really feel for vulnerable cats - Just wanted to say — don’t give up. Older cats who are unwell often hide somewhere close, especially under porches, bushes, or in sheds. Please ask neighbours to check small spaces, and try softly calling at dawn or dusk. He might be frightened or hurt and too weak to move much. please try to look ad quickly as possible Hoping he returns safely. home soon

Hi again, I just wanted to add — please don't rule it out - sometimes when cats are injured or very scared, they slip into extremely tight spaces and stay silent. It’s possible he’s not in open woodland but hidden closer — under a shed, decking, or even inside a neighbour’s garage or crawlspace. You might ask nearby households to check those tucked-away places. Wishing you strength and really hoping he turns up safe.

just to say a neighbour's cat went missing for 3 days a few months ago and did come back. put out his toys, litter tray blankets near the front door as their scent he can pick up on. same as above check sheds

sorry didn't finish - my cat went missing for over one day, had been injured in a fight and went off to hide, after driving round very early morning with bag of treats he eventually came home slightly limping but ok. keeping fingers crossed he comes back. one of mine goes missing for hours and hours in this heat so i hope that's all that has happened or someone is feeding him maybe good luck

Cat came back home limping, disoriented and couldn't keep his balance. Vet said it could be because of a nerve of his eyes being hit.
