Leia has been found! She was trapped in next doors car for just over a week. She is alive and well - but quite thin and we have been feeding her small amounts every 40-odd minutes in line with advice from the Vets.

My next door neighbor phoned me in the morning to say he had found Leia in his car! She must have jumped in last week when side door was open and as she is black and the interior of the car is black and under a car port not very easy to see inside. He said he had found his car had a flat battery last week as the car had been sitting unused since the start of the lockdown. Although I had put notes through the doors of all my neighbors to check sheds, garages and any enclosed spaces on Friday 24th April he did not think to look in his car. Again due to the Lockdown I went around and collected her from inside the car - luckily it was protected from the Sun so would not have gotten too hot and it was just *pure chance* he had been out there and saw her inside as he is in isolation and having food delivered. She looked extremely scared with big eyes and tried to get away from me, but after I picked her up she realized it was me and clung to me as I took her inside the house and soon became more at ease. We are feeding her small amounts of food as per advice from the Vets and giving her little bit of water too as well as having set up her litter tray inside - as she would always goes outside to delicate. Fingers crossed she will recover very soon from her ordeal.
