Circumstances:	cat found miaowing outside our home. we have a few ferals that we house and he seems no trouble but its only a matter of time. i’ve put a paper collar on him with no luck.
Other info:	very timid young male. possibly lost

A cat very similar to this has been posted as lost on Animalsearchuk - if you haven't seen it already, it might be worthwhile checking it out/contacting the owner. The Animal Search UK reference number is ALP291456.

Thanks for your reply. I don't know if you've been able to get it to a vet to scan it for a microchip, but if you can't I've got a scanner which I'm happy to loan to you for a couple of days to check it out.
