I can not be sure it was him but this week I saw a cat with the same markings as him. It was the striking markings that drew my attention. The cat I saw was in Grove up the back road. The cat came from the feilds and crossed the main road and went towards the co-op car park. Looking at the photo he looks very much like the cat I saw. I don't know if this is of any help but thought best to say just incase. Trudy

Hi Trudy, thanks for the update. I haven't searches the Grove area yet, so will give it a go. We're pretty. We to Wantage, so are not too familiar with the area; where is the 'back road' in Grove? Thanks, Martin.

Trudy was this near Saville Way? I saw a similar cat to this one on the wall on the left as you turn in at 7.45am Friday morning. As you say the markings are very striking thats why i noticed it too. One of my friends lives in that road (i was picking her up Friday) i will ask her if one lives there and to keep an eye out

Thanks for the replies. I did have a good look around Saville Way today, around the car park for Co-op. No sign of him today. If you are local to this area, can you please keep an eye out for me? And spread the word too. He does have very distinctive markings, especially with the white chest, belly, and feet. He's been gone for three weeks now, so could easily have got that far... Thanks again.

Strange question, but is he big like a Bengal? I have seen one on the last 2 weeks around millbrook school near the shops. Hope this helps.
