Lost dog: Red Lurcher dog called Gabriel - Ventnor area, Isle of Wight

Health:	Healthy
Age:	9 years old (approx)
Sex:	Male
Collar:	multi coloured beaded
Microchipped:	Yes
Markings:	Two scars on haunch
Circumstances:	In the field above Old chute field, & coming down to O.C. field, I skirted round the far edges to avoid cows. Gabe ran across the centre of the field, but was not at the small gate leading to Old Chute when I got there.. I searched all over for 3 hours using the sonic whistle but no luck. It was dark, windy & raining soon after he disappeared.
Other info:	A Greyhound Saluki cross, tall & slim but not skinny. White marking on chest.

Gabe ran off at 5.30p.m. on 20/10.17. Was missing next day and ran back in the small hours of 22/10/17 but was killed by bullocks close to home. Found at approx. 10a.m. on the 22nd by the sniffer dogs of Lost Pets @ Isle of Wight. They were so kind, both organisations, I cant praise them highly enough. So thank you. {Pet log made a mess of the location}.
