Presume all outbuildings including empty houses, and cellars have been checked in case he is shut in? Empty contents of the hoover onto the garden as his scent will be there. Put his unwashed blanket into a clean container,. along with your scent too. Leave in the garden in a sheltered spot or hang on the washing line if dry; used towels too. Wipe his scent on your garden fences, gates, doors too; anything leading up to the garden. Try a squeaky toy in case he is around. Walk around the area holding an object with his scent on, and rattle some cat biscuits. Someone may be feeding him. (Common problem) When it is nightfall, and your are searching use a strong torch as the light will reflect a cats eyes. Poster around the area, and post flyers through doors too. Post a LOST CAT ad in a National newspaper in case he has climbed into a car. Many cats that go missing have got into a delivery van or car and hitched a lift to their next port of call. Was there a delivery van around that day? Ask neighbours. Then call the delivery company and ask where the vehicle went next. Most vans use gps now and can say exactly where they went that day. Really hope Bounder comes home soon, thinking of you. Paws xd.

Hello, we have had a black and white long haired cat coming into our house and sleeping, also eating our cats food. It's been around for a couple of months at least. We are in plymouth so might be a bit far away but thought it was worth a comment in case your cat is still missing. it seems very nervous and runs away from us when it realises we've noticed it so we haven't been able to get close enough to the cat to get it to a vet or anything so don't know if it's male or female or checked a microchip or anything. i have a photograph of that helps!
