I'm the Lost & Found Officer for Wolverhampton Cats Protection. I have posted his ad to our page, so if you could keep an eye on it for any comments, that would be great. We advise: Knock on doors and ask people to check their sheds and garages. Check any empty buildings and under bushes. Go out calling him when it’s quiet so he can hear your voice and you can listen out for him meowing in case he is stuck, scared or injured. Don't be shy to knock on neighbour’s doors asking them to check. Make flyers and get them up and about. Even if you can’t print any, write some with his description and when he went missing and your contact number on. Put them in clear plastic and tape them round lamp posts. Register him with Animal Search UK online for free. Shine the torch from your phone under bushes and even up trees in case he's been chased. The light will reflect off his eyes. Peg out a blanket of his, worn clothes of yours, the litter tray and the contents of the vacuum cleaner, all so he can pick up the scent. The litter tray works brilliantly, but if he doesn't use one, don't worry, as the other items work just as well. Contact all local vets in case he is taken in. You could also try checking with the council just in case the worst has happened and they have picked him up. They do scan for microchips if he’s chipped but they can fail if they have been hit by a car. Advertise in the Express & Star Lost & Found 01902 317878 (there will be a charge). Good luck, I really hope he’s home safely soon. Please keep us updated. Julie Lashford
