We received some information from a builder who working in our area who was driving home along Oliver Road on October 24th at about 2000hrs around the time Lady Gray disappeared. About 20 metres just before the junction with main road, London Road, he spotted a car had pulled over and the occupants were stood out of the car looking down at the body of a motionless grey coloured cat. The builder thought this car may have possibly hit the cat. He was unable to say whether the cat was dead. The location where this is said to have occured is only 10 metres from our back garden gate which is tragic. We fear that this may have been Lady Gray. The odd thing is that no cats have been handed in to local vets or the council depot and we would have walked past this spot the next morning. If she is dead then it would be good to know whether her body was taken or disposed of. We would be really grateful for any information.
