I will look out and download the flyer and will try to get it on the local SM (Next Door) and on our Cats Protection FB. Am surprised if you had Theo from a welfare charity that they did not explain that the cat flap should always be locked at night, and that Theo had access to litter trays at night. So hope he comes back and once he does, do remember to lock the flap - call him in just before dusk - tap the food bowl.

We didn't get him from a rescue. He had been living in someones shed and they didn't want him so we took him. He was kept in for the first month and then taken out on a harness before being allowed iut. He was using the catflap fine and comng and going without issue. He was really content. All I can think is something spooked him. Can we up the reward to £50 please

I have used the litter from his trays and sprinkled around the garden. He had 2 trays in the house

Claire, you are doing all you possibly can - and so good of you to take an older cat and give him a home. I made the point as you will understand that when a cat charity like CP or TCR rehome a cat, we give lots of advice including keeping puss in for 6 - 8 weeks and always in at night when more risk and danger lurk out their for their new pet - like being spooked or getting into a fight with a stray or feral cat. I've not long adopted a 9-year old myself and sometimes let him out after dark for 'one last wee' but he returned a week ago with an injury so am being more strict with him (and myself!) now. I've sent the poster to Cats Pro FB page and Next Door. I really think and hope that by the time I've written this Theo will be back - paws crossed. Try emptying the vac bag round the garden too so he can 'sniff' his way home. And keep tapping the food dish and calling.

Sorry I didn't mean to sound ungrateful, I am so worried. He is not home, but no reports of him on a road somewhere. We have been around the are and no sign of him. He is so small. He looks normal size, but when you pick him up he is tiny. He was only 3.6kg when we got him and 4.2kg at last weigh in, Without food I am not sure how long he can last. Thank you for your help. I am truly thankful x

Claire, u didn't sound ungrateful ... just naturally terribly worried. People on Next Door in Walmley Village are replying and looking out for him - and my colleague Jane in CP has or is adding it to FB. I will add to the Next Door thread that if anyone sees him to try to coax him in with food and close the door and call you. Is it your number on the poster? R u at work or can you answer the phone? If you want to e-m so we can make contact more easily I'm sheilapennell@talktalk.net, and 377 7899 phone. He will find food if he was fending for himself prior and living in a shed. Come on Theo, survive and return home. Have you put him on Animal Search too? Another big 'search engine' .. Do try that.

THEO IS HOME He was crying at someones door a few streets down from us. They took him in and realised he must belong to someone. They took him to our vets who then rang us. he is very thin and was covered in tics, which the people that found him helped remove and then the vet removed some. We have treated him for tics now & he is extremely hungry. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU x
