Microchipped:	Yes
Markings:	Big eyes
Circumstances:	Mooncake had been away the whole day which is very unusual for him. He was behaving very timid, wouldn't allow anyone to touch him and kept hiding behind the sofa or under beds, behind curtains.. again not like him as he lays down anywhere. And he isna hoke body, only leaves to go poo. He eats quite a bit and didn't eat his dinner. He was walking extremely slow and his tail was dragging. We knew he wasn't well and had booked him into the vet. He requested to go outside and laid in the grass. About 10 mins later her was gone. We haven't seen him since.
Other info:	Always looks suprised. Collar has my door number and postcode and phone number.

So sorry Mooncake is missing Have you tried West Norwood Local Facebook page? Also NextDoor website is a good way to reach your neighbours. Beware this site is a target for hoax callers ie a fake RSPCA vet who asks for money pretending to have the cat. Also call the microchip database to let them know is lost.

Hi there, I know someone who has found a black cat in the SE27 area. I don't think it's the same cat based on the photos but I would like to make sure, does Mooncake have any discerning features that we could check? The cat found doesn't have a collar, I have a photo I can send to you.

Hi there, Thanks for messaging me. Mooncakes collar could have been removed. He always looks like he is surprised and responds to his name. If he is out in the sum brown stripes appear on his sides. Please send me a pic

Mooncale has returned home. He is in a very poor state as appears he may have been run over. I've rushed him to the vet this morning and they have advised that they will update me on what ever treatment has been carried out. I'm so glad he is home but gutted he has been suffering.

He returned home this morning via the back garden. Lump in his back, tail dragging on the floor and bleeding heavily. I've rushed him to the emergency vet and they have advised that they will let me know whatever treatments they are carrying out. I've signed all forms so they can go ahead with his treatment. I'm so happy he has returned. But honestly so gutted thatbhe has been in pain and discomfort all week.
