Circumstances:	Went out to explore but did not come back. She has been re-homed with us recently and is confident around her new garden but not used to staying out for any length of time.

Where was Ruby living before you adopted her? Have you updated her microchip? If not contact the chip company see if she has been scanned. Have you made your own report to Battersea? You can do it online they will give you a reference number. Have you contacted Cats Protection Mitcham? SNARL and Foal Farm Biggin Hill, Blue Cross Victoria and RSPCA Putney? All the local vets in case she has been brought in. I personally think she is close by. Door knock all your neighbours to check their gardens too. Put flyers in doors and posters up. Ruby had been visiting a house approximately 1 mile away from home for several days. The householders used the name and address details on her collar tag to alert us. She was well and in good condition despite a week fending for herself. The flyers helped as we had several reports of sightings (that turned out to be other cats) and this showed that people were actively responding to the flyers and posters.
