Hi we have a community microchip scanner you can borrow to scan for a chip and then if you call a local vet they can look up owner and let them know. It’s up at Streatham Hill. Or you might find it easier to borrow a cat carrier and take for a scan. What is the injury? New Moon Rescue may even be able to collect for you and check for a chip.

Thank you, I have a carrier but unfortunately I don't drive, he had a small wound above one eye, but that had healed. then the day before yesterday the wound was bleeding again, yesterday he turned up with an injured front paw, which he did not want to put any weight on, I couldn't actually see a wound, but obviously in pain, I gave him some dry food and he let me stroke his head (which is a first) Just waiting to see if he turns up today, I have a paper collar ready. I am hoping that if he has a home his family will notice the injury and get it treated. Just waiting to see if he puts in an appearance today.

This cat is still visiting on almost a daily basis, but the good news is he/she is no longer limping.

Managed to get him indoors and into a carrier, he has been to a vet and has been checked over and neutered and is now in rescue. He was not microchipped or neutered, so he will be rehomed.
