There is a rescue called Stokey Cats they probably have someone who has a scanner who can check for a microchip. If not you can take to any vet to scan for free or look up Scan Angels to find one near you. Hope you find the owner. Stokey Cats has a Facebook page if that helps.

I am with a cat rescue charity. If the cat is that friendly enough as you can pick up please do take him/her a local vet and get him/her as soon as possible please. Much quicker to find the owner (if chipped)

The cat was just a bit lost in the neighbourhood. I saw it again in the neighbourhood a couple of times being well fed and healthy.
