Circumstances:	Originally followed my neighbour home on Friday 6th, seemed lost. Took to vet - no microchip but, as advised, released it. Opened door today and in she/he shot. Cried and cried - put it out a couple of times but kept crying on doorstep and running back in. Fed it - seemed not to have eaten for some time. Put it out but just cried and cried trying to get back in. Posted on various websites and will keep in overnight as seen too many hit by cars on this road.

Owner identified - some way further along busy road - via local Facebook page. Spoke with and they requested I let the cat out and she'll make her own way home! Cat refused to leave that night so next morning attached a paper collar and sent her on her way. Apparently she arrived safely home later the same day.
