Markings:	Black markings on her face look like she's wearing a mask to a masquerade ball. Pink nose.
Circumstances:	My husband fed Flossy a substantial lunch at about 1:00pm and then continued working from home. He didn't hear her go out, but when I returned from at 4:00pm she wasn't anywhere to be seen. We searched the house and garden and the neighbour's gardens on either side. She did not come home for her evening meal, Thyronorm medication and insulin injection. Two possible sightings from a Facebook appeal place her in Orchard Road at about 4:00pm and in Gore Road, opposite Centenary Gardens at about 11:00pm. No sightings since. These areas have been searched, the neighbours have searched their sheds/outbuildings and allowed us to search their gardens. She may be lost and unable to find her way home; since she developed diabetes, she hasn't really left the garden until about three weeks ago. Her muscle tone seems to be improving and she has been able to jump over walls and fences, whereas previously, she had always been too weak.
Other info:	She has been battling diabetes and hyperthyroidism for the last year; no longer washes or grooms herself but relies on me to bath her/tackle her matted fur a bit at a time (her patience allowing), so she looks very scruffy/grubby. Most of her matted bits of fur are on her belly and under her arm pits - as quickly as I remove them, they come back again.She is also quite bony and frail looking, although we have managed to get her to put a fair bit of weight on over the last few months.

Never sighted beyond the day she disappeared, never found, probably hid herself away to die and has not been discovered.
