Found cat: Black and white cat - Sandown area, Isle of Wight

Markings:	White bib and socks, white around nose and mouth
Circumstances:	Saw it 2 days ago in my garden, thought it looked a stray, saw it again this evening near the same place, dashed in to get the remains of my cats wet food, soft talked cat til it saw the food. It was so hungry it won over being scared, after a few bites I put the dish in easy reach on top of a bin as cat was up on a shed roof by this time and I'd never reach it. Very scared, but so hungry it came onto fence top with front paws on bin and gobbled food - didn't even notice I'd lightly put one whole hand under its belly. So food finished, and my other hand quickly held cat close to me. Cat terrified, scratched and wriggled, but I'm good wth animals and got it shut into our conservatory, where it panicked again until it found a hiding place and I put a bit more food next to it. It polished the bowl clean, twice. A bit later I put a small amount of dry food and a bowl of water next to it and it arched up a bit as I petted its head and neck just once, which shows me it did have some love sometime. Seems very young. Left it alone safe til tomorrow when I'll feed it again, put it in my cats secure carrier, and take it somewhere to be scanned for a microchip.

This little cat has a chip! She is 2, neutered and vaccinated, and her chip says she lives only a few 'cat gardens' from where she was found. WHERE IS HER OWNER ? Cats Protection kindly scanned her and left a message on the phone with their number plus a mobile number. After a few hours had passed they even went to the trouble to put a message through the letter box. Still no phone call a good 11 hours later. PLEASE SANDOWN FOLKS - THINK HARD. Has a neigbour moved in the last 6 months? Have you a neigbour you haven't seen lately who could be in hospital and unable to say they have a cat? This very cute kitty has a sweet and calm disposition, uses a litter box, but she needs her owners love. My very elderly cat has not taken kindly to this temporary lodger, or I would absolutely keep her, but I doubt I can manage through the weekend - PLEASE HELP REUNITE this very deserving charmer. Thank you.

This delightful indoor cat's owners still have not claimed her, 22 days have gone by. A kind person has taken her in, but worries about her owner.

My elderly cat passed on, this cat wasn't happy in her first foster home, so I took her in and she's very happy (me too).
