he had fallen down a man made drainage shaft and couldn't get out. He doesn't bark and it was covered by undergrowth. a friend suggested looking down holes and that was how we found him. the park keeper was wonderful at helping to haul him out. apart from a torn claw he seems none the worse for his adventure. many thanks to everybody.
