Lost cat: Grey, white cat called Rufus - Ross-on-Wye area, Herefordshire

Circumstances:	This is Rufus ( though he may not answer to this). He was a stray from Wootton Bassett near Swindon. Our daughter’s friends were feeding him for a few weeks and took him to the vet but he was not chipped. They posted about him locally but no one claimed him. They couldn’t keep him as they already have two cats so we offered him a home. He was recently neutered by the Cats Protection League. He arrived here on Sunday 18th June but managed to slip out of the house on Monday 19th June when a parcel was delivered. We spotted him in the garden on Tuesday morning briefly but haven’t seen him since then. We live near Backney Bridge Picnic Site, Sellack so lots of fields and hedges to hide in. We found his collar near by. He is a friendly, gentle chap, but was very quiet after the car journey but ate well after arrival. Where his tail meets his body had been clipped as he had some tar stuck to it.
