Circumstances:	10.00am 1st Nov 2025 Found lost dog, Young male German Shepherd on Great North Road/Barnet Road outside Potters Grange Nursing home and Duke of York pub. It was running in the road and nearly got hit. Had a collar but no tag. Spent 3 hrs looking for the owner. The pub lent me a lead and I knocked on doors but nothing. Took it to Oak Vets in Potters Bar, they scanned for microchip and the information from it wasn’t straight forward as it went to a Swedish chip company. Online info directed it to another business who said they don’t have any info for that chip. Submitted online form to another business and waiting for a response. The vet said they will liaise with a local dog warden and I have now left it with them. The dog is absolutely gorgeous and is so loving, I didn’t want to let it go but I have cats at home so couldn’t bring it home whilst looking for the owner.
