Markings:	Black and white cat with white feet
Circumstances:	He visited our cul de sac on a regular basis and eventually started stealing food from our kitchen when we had the door open. He seemed very hungry so we started feeding him to the point where he is now with us on a permanent (albeit temporary) basis.

We had registered Sox with the RSPCA for rehoming, and they were going to contact us shortly to carry that out, except that, on the above date, Sox had been outside but had returned indoors and seemed suddenly very poorly. So we took him to Vets who after tests referred him (and us) the the Royal Vet. College. Both the Vet and the College concluded he had probably been hit by a car. The College took over responsibility for Sox and arranged to have him operated on by another Vet Practice, and also arranged for the RSPCA to take responsibility for him afterwards. So he is no longer our responsibility.
