I may have seen this cat last Thursday or Friday on the pavement on Cardigan Street, daytime. If it's the same cat, it was almost too friendly, on the desperate side. But wasn't distressed. I noticed it so much that I stopped on the corner of Albert Street for a few minutes looking back to watch it. It stayed sitting on the pavement, so I thought it was ok and walked on. Have asked my neighbours in School Court but noone recognises it. Have you had any update/do you need food donations? (We're near you on Cardigan St). If you can take the cat to the nearest vet in North Parade, they'll check if it has a microchip (unless you've already done that)

I have taken the cat to the vets and they checked for micro chip but there wasn't one. Cat is happy and very friendly. Think it might be getting stuck in my back garden which is high walled. Hopefully today she has found her way home. Vet recommended I keep putting her out if she finds a way back in.

ok but let me know if you still spot her hanging around! I'll keep an eye out for her too, in case she's still homeless and wandering around. There's a problem with cats getting into vans etc and then being put out in an entirely different area.
