he's actually 8 months old, NOT 1 year.

This dog was seen on Hollow Way, a day or 2 after he went missing. Not by myself, although I did add the info to the doglost website. As it was info recieved through a third party, I do not know the exact location or the direction the dog was heading, only that it was seen by someone who was driving on Hollow way.

so he was seen with SOMEONE and was not alone?

sorry if it wasn't clear in my last post. the dog was alone- not with someone. this is why it was noticed as it is unusual for a dog to be on its own close to a busy road like that

if you look on doglost, you will see the date that this happened, as I'm sure from the date of my post you will be able to work out the date your dog was sighted. Hope this helps

do you remember whereabouts on holloway you or the others saw him?

I'm afraid I haven't been able to find out any more but I did suggest that it may be worth going to the southfield golf course, which backs on to hollow way, to maybe put up posters or ask if your dog was seen there? The other local place to hollow way, which would be attractive to a dog out on it's own, would be shotover, I have told several regulars about your dog and as they are up there dog walking themselves, they would notice a dog without anyone accompanying it. I'm also around the bottom of shotover myself walking my own dog for a couple of hours every day, and often walk up to the plain at the top and also brasenose woods/ fields behind horspath athletics track, and I haven't seen or heard anything helpful to you but will continue to spread the word. Assume you have done all the usual rescue centre/dog warden contacts with your dogs' details? Let me know if you hear anything, I really hope you do get your dog home soon.

Don't want to build the owners hope up but i've seen a dog that looks like this one it's older now though. Ive seen an elderly man near Morrisons Kingsway Rochdale, that's near Newbold metrolink stop. He had a foreign lady PCSO keeping an eye on it last year while he went inside the shop. He did say he had found the dog a few years before hand he didn't no how old it was are it's name. I no it's a long shot but could be the same dog. I once lost a dog years ago and it was found 400miles away 6years later.
