I realise this is not much help, but I think it was your cat who was at my French Doors asking to come in, however, this was either the day (probably) he went missing (16th) or the next day, around 9.00am - 10.00am. I thought it was unusual because he stayed at the doors for about 10 minutes asking to come in and although I have quite a few cats come into the garden I had not seen a tabby cat like this and they usually just pass through - he had quite a white front and looked quite a young cat. Unfortunately I did not see him again that day or since.

Thanks! Do you happen to live in Marston? Last known sightings seem to have been there, so we've been leafletting. Yes, he's young:1 year old on the 24th April. He's very friendly and inquisitive.

Received a tip yesterday that he was seen on Henley street - off the Iffley road... no luck yet when searching the neighbourhood.

Yes, I live in Marston, Nicholson Road. I'm certain it was him around the time he first went missing - he was very keen for me to let him in and I wish I'd gone outside now as he may have come back another day. I hope you are able to find him, as it appears he is already seeing the sites of Oxford!

FOUND!! Over a month, more than 3 miles away. Many thanks to the very kind couple who called us - and meanwhile had taken him in and fed him.

Found 3+ miles from home. Kind couple called: he had been sitting on their doorstep. Looking a bit thin, but none the worse for wear otherwise. So glad to have him home again
