Hello, we saw a black and white cat a few days ago in Cumnor Rise Road coming from Hurst Rise Road; that's all I can tell you, we didn't get that good a look of it and it was a few days ago, but might be a lead at least.

Thank you! I have been in our area searching for him. May pop out there tomorrow! Thank you for the lead!

The following may help... Put their used cat litter/favourite bed/toy (&/or contents of your vaccum) outside, they can smell it for miles & help them find their way home - your dirty laundry on the line - the smellier the socks the better!! Go out looking late at night & early morning - your voices (& theirs) will travel further. Knock on neighbours doors & ask them to let you look in garages/sheds as they'll be scared & may hide from the stranger but cry out to you. Also, where are their safe places - where they go in your house? Use those to help you think like that, do they hide in dark & low or up high? Get low under bushes, decking etc, get ladders & explore places that can be climbed Make a flyer & post it through peoples doors

Thank you!! I have had clothes out not washed so we can attract him through smell, litter is out, his favourite treats as well! Posters will be going up tomorrow! I have been knocking on doors, rattling the box of his treats as i go around the neighborhood.... Im just dreading he may be locked somewhere and he cant come out! y be

I can't put photo on report and I have a lost and found pets for Next Door and there is a found cat in Swinburne Road, long way away. The cat looks longer-haired but may be dishevelled.

Thank you Maggie, yes I have seen that cat! He is definitely not Oreo!

Many thanks for getting back, I thought it was unlikely and Cumnor Rise seems to be more likely. There have been a few cats returning home seeming confused and I wonder if this is the sun and there is some issue with pets' smell, hence advice above re smell, a good one is used pet linen but you could do with some wind. Good luck

Hi, was just walking through Fogwell Road play area and saw a very young looking black and white cat. Went to approach it but it shot off before we got there.

Oreo must have been shut somewhere, he turned up at 1:30 am in our back garden.
