Circumstances:	It has wandered across our garden several times but not every day. We thought to start with that it might be owned by someone who has just moved into the area but as we are not sure this is the case we wanted to list it on this site. We have tried to approach it but it runs away. It doesn't look that well groomed and we can really see if it looks as though it is hungry
Other info:	This is a cat who has been in the area for around three/four weeks. We are not sure if it lost but we are concerned that it might be.

Hiya, I'm not entirely sure but this might be a cat whose owner I know? He's quite wild. Long fur. Does he have kind of tabby markings on his dark tail? Like the cat I'm thinking of often disappears for a couple of weeks then comes back all hungry and dishevelled.

Yes this cat does have a tabby tail. We hadn't seen it for a while but it came back a few days ago and sat on our wall. It looked reasonably well and cared for. Called it but it ran off. .I am away from home at the moment until Wednesday evening but have a catsitter there so could check if he has seen it since we left on Tuesday

If you do think this is the cat you are talking about can you get the owner to contact Mr so I caney them know when I see it again. Do they live anywhere near to mill lane,? Just asking as wonder how far it travels from home.
