Hi, we lost our cat around the time you found this one. Our missing cat is also, male, ginger and does look to share quite alot of the facial markings of this cat. I wouldn't describe our cat as feral though, he's been with us since kitten and very friendly and we are in Follifoot so too far for him to walk. If I send you a picture of our missing cat would you mind having a quick look to see if you think they match. regards Steve

Hi Steve....Of course I would most certainly compare pictures...he has been around a lot longer than a couple of weeks though...probably about 2 or more years....could you lhe just decided enough is enough and has moved into my shed which is now geared up to accommodate him...I have a very old female black cat of my own which is why I cannot at the moment, let him into the house to sleep...he is though sitting beside me in the kitchen at the moment...Iet me know if your cat was neutered....

I will close this post now as it has been some time since I posted it...'Oliver' seems to have moved in permanently since I lost my own little cat 2 weeks ago....I have had the Cats Protection in to see if he is chipped, which he isn't and he is off to the vets this week to have a thorough check up and to be neutered... looks like I have a cat again!!! He is a total joy but it will take some time to gain his trust as he has been semi feral for quite some time now. Many thanks for this site...I am sure it is an enormous help to so many people. Good luck to all who have lost their precious friends. Eileen

Oliver decided to move in with me and was tolerated by my own little cat who sadly died 2 weeks ago...Since then Oliver has become more affectionate and although still very timid is slowly beginning to allow me to stroke him and has taken up residence on my sofa!!! he has worked out the cat flap and it is extremely busy with his comings and goings. I even had a mouse brought to me the other day!!!!! He is going to the vets this week for a complete check up and to be neutered and hopefully he will settle down. I have also been accepted by the Cats Protection Cat Guardians scheme as I am a pensioner and am now happy that Oliver will be looked after properly if anything happens to me. Hopefully we will have a good few years together...
