Found dog: Black and tan dog - Banbury area, Oxfordshire

Found:	11 years ago (20 February 2013 at around 14:00hrs)
Location:	canalside land off appletree lane, Cropredy
Health:	Healthy
Age:	8 years old
Sex:	Unknown
Collar:	Black or brown (can't get close enough to see)
Microchipped:	Not sure
Markings:	Very small dog - possibly terrier cross breed. High pitched bark. One ear flopping down.
Circumstances:	Dog is on moorings off Appltree Lane (near bridge 150 on Oxford Canal). First spotted yesterday. Has been given food and a bed by neighbours and doesn't appear to want to move away.

update 21st Feb 2013 5pm. Neighbours have given dog some food. On closer inspection dog has a blue patterned collar and seems quite young. As we are concerned about it's chances of survival in the cold, have contacted dog warden service who will be coming to take dog to Bicester kennels on Friday morning. Dog is currently in neighbour's car (not an option to take into either of our homes as we have cats.
