Age:	6 years old (approx)

Microchipped:	Yes
Markings:	She has two white whiskers on her right side only.
Circumstances:	Muffins belongs to my friend who is on holiday. I’m looking after her. She is timid and found a few places to hide in our house. The last time I saw her was Wednesday night (early hours thurs), she used the litter tray in our bathroom then went upstairs. The next day I checked all her previous hiding places then everywhere else I felt she could reasonably be. She didn’t come out for food or water. We realised it was possible she got out of an upstairs window on the very hot night of Wednesday, though they weren’t open very wide. She has up to this point been an indoor cat. It seems unlikely she has gone far, but I really find it hard to believe she’s still in the house hiding in one inaccessible place silently for nearly two days. This is not her house so I don’t know if she’d have any instinct to come back. But her own house seems a long trek for a very scared indoor kitty. She may want to hide in sheds, bushes etc nearby.
Other info:	She’s very small, quite fluffy with a shortish fluffy tail.

A neighbour of mind called round and said he’d seen a cat matching the description of Muffins in the poster. I went round later that day with my friend who is Muffins’ owner, and it was her. We got her into a cat carrier and my friend took her home. She’s being checked over by the vet today.
