Circumstances:	He/she had entered the building through a cat flap in the rear door, gone upstairs and was asleep on the doormat in front of my flat. It was a very cold night and He/she had obviously come in for some warmth. I tried putting the cat out again but he/she kept going back an was obviously very hungry, although showed no signs of starvation and was in good condition.

I took this lovely cat to the vet and found he was microchipped so the vet sent messages to his owners - hopefully now he is reunited with them. I enjoyed his company for two days :)

I took the cat to the vet after he had been with me for 2 days and I had no response from advertising. The vet checked for a microchip and luckily he had one, so he stayed with the vet until they could owners. I have since checked with the vet, and the owners did come and collect him
