There are a couple of errors in the report and I don't know how to change them. To clarify - it was NewHAVEN harbour not NewPORT. This was my typo. If you click the poster it says she was wearing a collar. I don't know why. Much to my regret, she was not wearing one.

I am feeling somewhat dazed and can hardly believe I get to write these words as I didn't think I would but... We have Missie back safe and sound!!! We couldn't bring ourselves to leave the area without her so we made arrangements to stay on for a week or until we had lost hope. We had been out calling her with no sign until this evening she strolled up to my husband as if nothing had happened and asked where dinner was. A large patch of waste ground, right by where we lost her, has been fenced off, presumably for building. Missie had found her way in and presumably was having a high old time until she got peckish and came looking for her humans. We are so relieved and happy to have her back. Thank you so much to everyone who offered advice, support and of course the army of people who shared and re-shared our story on social media. Knowing that people were keeping their eyes peeled for her was a huge comfort to us and we are so grateful to all of you. Thank you ??
