Yesterday about 8:40am a dog just like this almost ran in front of the bus i was on, didn’t seem to be with anybody or on a lead. I got off the bus at the next stop and went back but dog had gone out of sight. This was on neville street next to the little church. Hope she’s found soon

The good news is we have got her...thanks to the amazing caring community who sent in reports of sighting all day we were able to chase and eventually found her in a tiny bit of wasteland next to Dean street car park ....I don't know how to thank people enough....you are alll fantastic. Good luck to everyone else who is looking for their pet......I'll help whenever I can

We had reported sighting of where Pippi was all day and were behind her from 11.30 onwards.Eventually, thanks to tow girls we were shown exactly where she had squeezed herself through a metal fence, after calling for a while she appeared. It was hard for her to get back to the fence but we were able,to reach her. She had worn her pads through all the running, was exhausted and very hungry and thirsty. We wouldn't have found her if it hadn't been for so many people helping us.huge thanks to everyone as owners are so grateful she was in a tiny patch of wasteland right next to Dean Street car park and nearly on the Tyne Bridge!
