LOST
Ashley
Name: Ashley
Breed & Species: German Short-haired Pointer dog
Colour: Brown to dark brown
SimpleColour:
Went missing: 2 months ago
(26 August 2025 at around 08:00hrs)
Location: Lock View Lane, Bletchley, Milton Keynes MK1 1BY, UK
Health: Healthy
Age: 6 years old (approx)
Sex: Neutered Male
Collar: Red i believe
Microchipped: Yes
Circumstances: He went out of the front door of the boat as usual at around 8am for his usual toilet duties and sniff around. He usually stays close by and generally in sight. On this occasion that was not the case and once I had tidied away his bed and started to do his bowl with kibble Ashley was not in view. I wasn't overly worried and gave it 3 minutes or so and then used the whistle to get Ashley back which always works, particularly when he knows there will be food. This time nothing
Other info: Particularly bandy rear legs, when he walks it's invariably nose to the ground and in a crabbing motion

A million thanks to everyone who contributed to Ashley's sightings and speedy reuniting. I was contacted by Natalie initially who amazingly managed to coordinate with me, Walnut Tree Vets and Milton Keynes dog warden. All were fab and just like that arrangements were made and I picked Ashley up from Walnut Tree Vets via the Milton Keynes Dog Warden around 5pm. Ashley was in great spirits and amazingly still full of beans despite his 5 mile plus adventure from Fenny to Walnut Tree. Each and everyone of you are a credit to Milton Keynes and it's tight knit community. My home county of Herefordshire could learn a lot from Milton Keynes and it's people. Thanks so much from me and of course the star of his own show, Ashley ??
